Hey kids!

Did you know that 101 years ago this month two explorers named Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamun...a tomb that hadn't been opened in over 3000 years?!  That discovery and others in the Valley of the Kings set off a craze for all things Egyptian that swept the globe and continues to this day!

So, how much do YOU know about the young King Tut?  We'll learn some fun facts about him and what his life was probably like back in Ancient Egypt around 1300 BC.  We'll learn some hieroglyphics to help discover items from his tomb.  We'll create our very own cartouche AND we'll even make some pyramids...little ones that will stand the test of time in your very own "desert" for you to take home and keep!

Hope to see you there!

This program is for school-age kids in grades K-5, ages 6-10.  Registration is required.
