Hey kids!  Who knows what a diorama is?  I'm talking about those cool 3D scenes set in a shoebox or other container that you can make at home and share with your library friends!

So many stories take place in an enchanted forest!  Snow White met her Seven Dwarves there and Hansel and Gretel found a very special (edible!) house there.  In the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy meets the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion deep in the forest.  Harry Potter and his friends find all kinds of enchanted creatures living in the Forbidden Forest near Hogwarts.  And don't forget Everfree Forest in the My Little Pony adventures!

I hope that you will IMAGINE YOUR STORY and create your own enchanted forest using your very best imagination and items you have at home.

When your grown-up signs you up be sure they include an email address.  The morning of June 9th I'll send out the Zoom meeting info to everyone who registers so we can see each other and talk about how to make a diorama and share ideas!  Feel free to look at the instruction sheet attached for tips to get started.

If you can't join us, that's okay, but I hope you'll think about making an Enchanted Forest Diorama at home anyway and send a picture of it to askus@bburglibrary.net so everyone can see what you made!!

This program is for kids 6 to 10.  Registration is required so I can share information with those who plan to attend our Zoom meeting.  Hope to see you then!
