Hey, kids!
Guess what May 25th is! Sure, it's Memorial Day, but it's also the 100th anniversary of Mammoth Cave becoming a NATIONAL PARK! Did you know Mammoth Cave is the world's longest known cave system? Amazing!
To honor our cool neighbor to the south on this momentous anniversary, let's craft our very own papier-mâché cave! It's some messy fun we know you'll enjoy. And it's a great lead in to our summer reading program this year which is UNEARTH A STORY!
(Oh, and when we say "cool" we mean it literally! Inside Mammoth Cave it stays about 54 degrees year-round!)
This craft is for school-age kids, 6 to 11, grades K to 5. Registration is required as supplies are limited so sign up for yours today!
