Program Description

Event Details

Dive into Shark Week with a STEM Story Adventure! This month, we’ll read Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean’s Most Fearless Scientist by Jess Keating and discover how one fearless scientist changed what we know about sharks. After the story, kids will become coders and ocean explorers as they design and debug a path from start to finish—collecting important scientific discoveries along the way that mirror Dr. Clark’s real-life research. It’s a hands-on blend of storytelling, problem-solving, and coding adventure that proves science is anything but scary!

Please note, there will be two sessions of this program presented this week - please sign up for only one.
