Program Description
Event Details
Join us for a special reading of See Marcus Grow, a book written by Marcus Bridgewater (aka Garden Marcus) about the lessons he learned in his grandma's garden growing up. Our guest reader, Natalie Abshire, represents "Read for the Record", a national readloud initiative supported by TJX, parent company of Homegoods Distribution Center in Brownsburg.
Stay after the reading for more fun gardening-themed activites and games, and to make a windowsill seed starter to take home and watch grow.
Families welcome, no registration required.
Please note: Food will not served, but sensory bins may use food materials such as dried beans, oats, or aquafaba. Please be aware, and feel free to contact us prior to the program if you have any concerns about food allergies.
