Program Description

Event Details

What is Seasonal Affective Disorder?  Is it a type of depression? Who is more prone and why does it affect people around the same time each year?  How is it related to changes in the seasons?  If you or someone you know is affected by S.A.D. then this program is for you and them!

Join us tonight as we learn about the science behind the disorder (neurotransmitters, hormones, genetics).  We will also discuss the symptoms and how to recognize them, as well various treatment options.

Mary Ridley is a licenced Clinical Social Worker. She is the founder of and therapist at Compassionate Roots in Noblesville.

Note: This program is recommended for teens ages 16+ and adults.
