Event Details
Get ready to unearth discovery — one rock at a time! In this hands-on STEM adventure, kids will explore the fascinating world of rocks and minerals and discover what makes each type unique. Then, we’ll get a little crafty (and a little messy!) as we use surprising food materials to create our own models of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. It’s part science, part art, and all fun—perfect for curious kids who love to build, experiment, and dig into something new!
Although we will not be eating the food that we experiment with in this program, please let us know if your child has any food allergies that we should be aware of.
Please note: there will be two sessions of this program presented this week - please sign up for only one.
