Join us for an engaging conversation with Tomasina Ray, President of RMS Titanic Inc. and Director of Collections, as we “dive” into the fascinating world of Titanic artifacts. Facilitated by a Road Scholar moderator, this session will explore Tomasina’s unique role in preserving the legacy of one of history’s most iconic ships. Through her stewardship, artifacts recovered from the wreckage are carefully cared for and brought to life in exhibitions around the globe. Learn how these treasures are preserved, the stories they tell and how you can experience the Titanic’s legacy through traveling exhibits. You can see some of these authentic artifacts at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at The Saunders Castle in Boston and in permanent museums in Orlando and Florida. This lecture promises to be a captivating session offering a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on one of history’s most enduring maritime stories.
