Event Details

Please join local eco-therapist, Mary Ridley, for a discussion on the powerful connection between humans and nature. Mary will take you on a fascinating journey as she teaches you how to harness elements of our natural environment to regulate and manage various mental health conditions.  Ecotherapy, a well-researched model, emphasizes the healing capabilities of nature.  In this talk, Mary will explore the why behind our detachment from nature while providing valuable insight on how we can reestablish this vital connection.  This presentation will focus on explaining the role nature plays in mental health, how to reconnect with nature and using nature as a means of healing.
