Make and Take: Date Created Plaid Art

Celebrate a crafty Labor Day and commemorate a special date with this extra unique art project!  Create your own specialized plaid pattern using any calendar date...an anniversary, a birthday, whatever you like...then make it art with tissue paper, glue and canvas.  

A how-to video will be available on the library's YouTube channel for viewing any time on or after 9/4/2020.  Make and take kits will be available at the front desk after 9/4/2020.  Each kit will include 1 9x12 canvas board, tissue paper strips, white glue and a foam applicator.  

No registration required. Make and take bags are available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.  For ages 18 and up.
