Program Description

Event Details

Get ready for kindergarten with the library! Transitioning from preschool to K can be more than just learning ABCs & 123s. Building confidence, cognitive flexibility, and self-awareness are all essential pieces to the puzzle of a well-rounded learning foundation. This class is open to children ages 4-5 and designed to touch up on the early learning horizon moments that all build towards feeling ready for kindergarten! Each session we’ll read a book & pair it with a hands-on craft to bring the story to life, all while practicing targeted developmental skills in the process.

*Registration is required. Sessions will run twice a month on every 2nd & 4th Thursdays @ 1:00pm!

*Children are encouraged to attend this program independently. We ask that accompanying adults wait in the library until the program is dismissed.*

*Please sign-up ONE child per registration and include the accompanying adult and any additional reminders for the teacher in the "Special Notes" field.*
