Program Description

Event Details

Learn from an expert biologist from the International Crane Foundation how to identify both Sandhill Cranes and the endangered Whooping Cranes.  She'll discuss their life and conservation history, the historic threats that lead to their declines, and the challenges the cranes face today.   Work that the Foundation has done with conservation partners will also be discussed and  what is being done now to help safeguard the future of these cranes.
