Program Description

Event Details

Upcycle some old library VHS tapes and create a unique, holiday movie-themed light!  

Please note: You will be handling the magnetic tape inside the VHS cassettes.  If you have concerns about safety, please wear gloves and/or wash your hands after handling. 

Please DO NOT throw away the magnetic tape in the regular trash or recycling.  You can return the tape from this project to the library for appropriate electronics recycling.  

Kits will be available to pick up Friday, December 1 - Friday, December 8.  Unclaimed kits will be made available to unregistered patrons on a first come, first served basis after December 8.  Selection of movie decals is first come, first served.

Ages 18 and up.
