Get ready to grow your own cave formations — right at home! In this Take & Make STEM kit, kids will explore the science of speleothems (that’s a big word for amazing cave formations like stalactites and stalagmites!) as they build a working model using a concentrated salt solution. Watch crystals slowly form and transform, just like they do deep underground over time. It’s a little bit of science magic, a little bit of patience, and a whole lot of wonder—perfect for inquisitive minds ready to experiment, observe, and unearth a story from the comfort of home!
