Join Brownsburg Public Library for an easy papercraft book series! In this series, taught by Gilda Amarante, you will learn how to build everything from simple accordion booklets to notebooks.

 

In class one, Gilda will teach the steps to build an accordion book that will give you skills that can be expanded to have pockets, angled photos, and simple zines. The second class will be Accordion Surprises, bringing the accordion to woven concertinas and flag books. The third class is Explosions, where you will create booklets that unfold, like the squash/dragon, or farmer’s purse. And the grand finale class will be custom notebooklets that can become anything from a photo album, a scrapbook or journal.

 

Each class will build upon the previous, so please be sure that you can attend all four classes before you register.
