Hey kids,
Do you think you have what it takes to be musher? Do you think you could lead a team of dedicated sled dogs across 1000 miles of rugged Alaskan terrain with the temperatures hovering around 5 degrees?
We'll talk about the history of the Iditarod and the effort it takes to put on the The Last Great Race on Earth.
Plus we'll do some crafts and games to honor those rugged (and a little crazy) mushers. It'll be SNOW fun!
This program is for school-age kids, 6 to 11, grades K to 5. Registration is required. Hope to see you there!
