Program Description

Event Details

This summer, Teens are invited to explore Mindfulness through a series of programs designed with their brains in mind! Not sure where to start? We have you covered.

Thursday, July 18th: Peaceful Group Hike/Walk

Sometimes all you need is a stroll in nature to help you feel some peace of mind. On Thursday, July 18th from 3 to 3:45, we'll be meeting at Arbuckle Acres Park to walk a short distance (just over 1 mile) on the Arbuckle Park Loop. Please meet us at Shelter 6 near the entrance to the Storywalk area. (See below for a map.) Bring a friend to chat with, an audiobook or music to listen to, or whatever suits you - there are no expectations for this, and you are more than welcome to just walk in silence, taking in your surroundings.

Please be sure to dress for the weather, wear good shoes to walk in, wear sunscreen/bug repellent, and bring some water!

You do not need to attend every program in order to be successful! Pick what feels right to you and come explore how you can easily practice self-care throughout the summer and beyond.

Open to ages 11-19, registration required.
