Program Description

Event Details

Local author and historian Ronald P. May will present a multi-media, patriotic program sharing the personal stories of local veterans who served in our nation's armed forces during World War 2.  These stories are taken from the three volumes of his book series Our Service Our Stories, which Mr. May will have available for purchase after the program. Collected through personal interviews, stories will include the experiences of men and women from every branch of service and theater of war, including the home front. They are stories of devotion, courage, adventure, disillusionment, loss, romance, heartbreak, and ultimately personal experience with the most significant event of the 20th century.  Mr. May will honor veterans in attendance at the end of the program.
