Sam Lowe, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, will cover the basics of Social Security, including when and how to file, how benefits are calculated, and strategies for maximizing what you receive. Helee Adkins, owner of Adkins Consulting, will explain the essentials of Medicare, including enrollment timelines, what each part covers (A, B, C, and D), and how to avoid common mistakes and penalties. In addition, she will educate attendees on the differences between Supplement and Advantage plans.
