Join the Indiana Astronomical Society to learn more about the total solar eclipse coming April 8, 2024.

  • Eclipses in history - Early eclipse observations in general and historical eclipses in Indiana. What can we learn from eclipses and a series of eclipse fun facts.

  • How to safely view an eclipse

  • What to look for - Where can the eclipse been seen and what one will actually see during the various eclipse phases.

  • Planning for the eclipse - tips on how to take photos and other websites for more eclipse  information.

Speaker: Steve Haines (Chairman of the Eclipse Committee for the Indiana Astronomical Society) will share slides, answer questions, and grow your excitement and passion for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
