Earth Day!

Library friends, help save our Earth one step at a time by planting milkweed seeds for our beautiful monarch butterflies!

Stop by the library any time Earth Day Thursday, April 22 and pick up a free package of milkweed seeds to plant at home. Milkweed, like the Asclepias tuberosa, are the ONLY food that monarch caterpillars will eat and without this native plant, our monarchs can't survive.

We'll also have tips for how you can make EVERY DAY Earth Day along with monarch butterfly coloring sheets for the kids.

No registration is required.  Milkweed seeds are available while supplies last.  Happy Earth Day!
