April – The Moon Saw It All

Ever wonder what animals do after dark? They dance the night away at a critter ball thrown for one and all! Children revel in a dreamy moonlit world where bobcats sing soulful songs, javelina click hooves on tortoise shell roofs, and coatimundis drum right along at a critter ball!

Join Hendricks County Parks naturalists to learn about native animals, read a story and take home a craft. For ages 3-12.

This program will be held outdoors and safe distancing will be practiced. If there is inclement weather, the program will be moved inside. Masks are required by everyone ages 8 years and older. A take-home craft will be provided for each child while supplies last. Registration is required. No walk-ins will be admitted.

We’re excited to get back to in-person programming but need to do it safely. Our April/May in-person programs are a way for us to test our safety protocols prior to returning to a majority of in-person programming. We ask for your patience as we test these out and thank you for helping us as we start to return to in-person programming. Safety protocols can be found in the attached document. We welcome your feedback on our safety protocols and your experience. Please share any feedback via email to rcaldwell@bburglibrary.net.
